In those weeks we spent in Australia, we found some funny and interesting facts that i would like to share
If you wanna go to visit Australia:
- Buses are very cheap in the cities, sometimes they’re free!
- After 5pm you have to be lucky to find a shop that’s opened – even during the week
- Australia has a lot of wildlife – and a lot of very beautiful birds
- Wildlife Zoos / Habitats are amazing to visit, you can get in touch with the animals and feed them and pad them.
- Always take a lot of water with you if you can
- You shouldn’t speed – speeding can be really expensive
Funny Facts:
- They got a Surf, Dive and SKI Shops – funny when it is summer
- You can find the most amazing car number plates over there
- Roadwork ahead and speed limits can be found everywhere – literally all 20 minutes or so
- Their most favorite sentence in wet season is “If it is flooded, forget it”
- Australians don’t really understand our english, one day we were asking for a zoo and they just didn’t get the word zoo
- Koala are not taking any drugs, it’s just their low blood sugar level that’s making them that dizzy
- You can find bikers everywhere….. even in the desert and on the highway
- Floodway is the most favorite street sign – you won’t find that many kangaroo signs
- Some warning signs on the street are not making you happy when driving:
- Rest or RIP
- Survive this drive – stay alive
- Browsy drivers die
- Break the drive, stay alive
